As an Associate Research Professor of Molecular Biology in Medicine and an Associate Director for Administration at the Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Julie Boyer Ph.D., leads activities among the cancer center’s research program members, scientific shared resources, and senior leadership to promote cancer research.
Dr. Boyer has over 10 years experience in directing and administering translational research programs, both in viral vector-mediated gene therapy and in cancer.
Prior to joining the Meyer Cancer Center in November 2013, she was the Associate Director for Translational Research Administration at Yale Cancer Center where she served as the primary interface between clinical investigators and basic scientists throughout the cancer center and contributed to the administration of basic, clinical, and translational research programs.
At WCM, Dr. Boyer is an active participant in strategic and operational planning and priority establishment for the cancer center through close collaboration with the Director and involvement in the Senior Leadership Committee, Executive Advisory Committee, and External Scientific Advisory Board.
